PITTSBURGH, PA — Just before midnight, Pittsburgh Bureau of Police South Side Entertainment Patrol officers responded to a stabbing at the intersection of South 14th Street and East Carson Street in the South Side neighborhood.
Officers located a victim suffering from a stab wound to the chest and rendered aid until medics arrived on the scene. Pittsburgh EMS personnel subsequently transported the victim in critical condition.
According to preliminary information released by public safety officials, a fight broke out inside Capos. Officers located evidence of the incident inside the establishment and evacuated the premises to secure the crime scene.
The Mobile Crime Unit responded to process the scene. City police reported that the investigation remains active and ongoing as officers work to identify suspects and interview witnesses.
