PITTSBURGH, PA — The City of Pittsburgh Department of Mobility and Infrastructure is continuing its 2026 street resurfacing program during the week of November 9, 2026, advancing roadway improvement projects across multiple city neighborhoods.
Municipal officials confirmed that there is no milling scheduled for next week. Paving operations will focus on several designated corridors, including Railroad Street from 31st Street to 29th Street, 31st Street from Railroad Street to Penn Avenue, Bartlett Street from Murray Avenue, Forbes Avenue from Northumberland to Aylesboro Avenue, and trails within Allegheny Commons Park.
Department officials noted that all scheduled resurfacing work and planned dates remain subject to change or postponement based on weather conditions and operational requirements. Resurfacing schedules are posted weekly on the department’s website and shared across municipal communication channels.
The city’s street resurfacing program encompasses asphalt resurfacing, Americans with Disabilities Act curb ramp upgrades along paved roadways, and structural repairs to concrete, brick, and block stone streets throughout Pittsburgh. Beyond municipal work, additional street mileage will be resurfaced through cooperation agreements with local public utilities, while mechanical patching addresses localized trouble spots on corridors across the city.
