Pittsburgh Introduces Neighborhood Clean Streets Initiative

PITTSBURGH, PA — City officials this week announced a new “Clean Streets Initiative” aimed at improving neighborhood cleanliness and enhancing public spaces across Pittsburgh. The program will coordinate efforts between the Department of Public Works, community organizations, and local volunteers to increase street cleaning, expand recycling access, and organize neighborhood beautification events. Officials say the initiative is designed to help residents take a more active role in maintaining their communities.
