Pittsburgh Lists 10 Streets for Week of June 15 Paving Work

PITTSBURGH, PA — Pittsburgh’s Department of Mobility and Infrastructure says its 2026 paving program will continue during the week of June 15, with 10 streets listed for resurfacing work across the city.

The city’s weekly notice lists Tay Way from Pierce Street to behind house number 5832; Allegheny Avenue from Decatur Street to North Franklin Street; Juniata Street from Fulton Street to the Juniata Street split; Seymour Street from Preble Avenue to the dead end; and Hamlin Street from Fontella Street to Bidwell Street.

The schedule also includes Vara Cruz Street from Centre Avenue to La Place Street, Warlo Street from Allegheny Avenue to Sedgwick Street, Daisy Street from Veteran Street to Sherlock Street, Federal Street from Lafayette Avenue to Mercy Street, and Perrysville Avenue from Federal Street Extension North to East Burgess Street.

City officials cautioned that the schedule can change or be postponed because of weather or other field conditions. DOMI says weekly resurfacing information will continue to be posted through the department’s paving schedule and city social media channels.

The street resurfacing program covers asphalt paving, ADA curb ramp upgrades on paved streets, and repairs to concrete, brick, and block stone streets. The city also expects additional resurfacing through cooperation agreements with local utilities, while mechanical patching will address trouble spots on corridors that do not need full repaving.
