CitiParks Outlines 2026 Dollar Bank Cinema in the Park Schedule

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Pittsburgh Bureau of CitiParks has announced the official schedule and film lineup for the 2026 Dollar Bank Cinema in the Park series, bringing free outdoor movie screenings to neighborhoods across the city.

The annual summer series hosts family-friendly movie screenings starting at dusk. This year’s selected films feature a mix of blockbusters, animated hits, and independent shorts. Screenings are hosted at major community venues including Flagstaff Hill, Grandview Park in Mount Washington, and Riverview Park.

Screening Venues and Highlights:

  • Flagstaff Hill (Schenley Park): Screenings take place on Wednesdays through July 29. Due to ongoing park construction, the final July screenings will be relocated to Schenley Plaza. Films include Hamnet, Creed, and Hamilton.
  • Grandview Park (Mount Washington): Saturday night movies run through July 25, featuring Wicked: For Good and The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants.
  • Arsenal Park (Lawrenceville): Friday night family screenings run through August 14, highlighting Cars and A Minecraft Movie.
  • Special Inclusion Screenings: Schenley Plaza will host Film Pittsburgh’s ReelAbilities Summer Shorts on Sunday, July 26, showcasing films dedicated to disability inclusion.

All Cinema in the Park events are free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks. Screenings are weather-dependent; residents can find real-time scheduling updates and weather notifications on social media by following the CitiParks Office of Special Events @PghEventsOffice.
