PITTSBURGH, PA — The City of Pittsburgh Department of Mobility and Infrastructure plans to pave 13 streets during the week of Aug. 3 as part of its 2026 street resurfacing program.
The scheduled work includes Hertzog Way from Fleming Avenue to the dead end; Argyle Way from Bates Street to Pier Street; Cato Street from Juliet Street to Romeo Street; Harry Street from Bernhardt Way to Blessing Street; and Bernhardt Way from Harry Street to Webster Avenue.
Crews also expect to pave Swinburne Street from Greenfield Avenue to Dawson Street; Sidney Street from South 25th Street to South 24th Street; South Seventh Street from East Carson Street to Bingham Street; South 20th Street from East Carson Street to Wharton Street; and South 19th Street from Sarah Street to East Carson Street.
Cabot Way from South 10th Street to South Fourth Street, Industry Way from Estella Avenue to Vincent Street, and Ottillia Street from Horne Street to Caus Way round out the city’s list. DOMI said no milling is currently planned for the week.
The schedule may change because of weather or other factors. Pittsburgh’s resurfacing program also supports ADA curb-ramp upgrades and repairs to concrete, brick and block-stone streets, while mechanical patching targets trouble spots on otherwise serviceable corridors.
