PITTSBURGH, PA — The City of Pittsburgh plans to pave 11 street segments from Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 11, as the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure continues its 2026 resurfacing program.
The city said no streets are scheduled for milling during the week. Paving is planned on Cassina Way from Brushton Avenue to North Richland Street; Multi Way from Hamilton Avenue to Formosa Way; Mohler Street from Ferris Court to Brushton Avenue; Short Street from Stranahan Street to the city limit; Monticello Street from Beecher Street to North Lang Avenue; and Turrett Street from Winslow Street to Meadow Street.
Additional work is scheduled on Whittier Street from Orphan Street to Joseph Street; two sections of Gem Way, one from North Aiken Avenue to the dead end and another from North Mathilda Street to North Winebiddle Street; West Cherry Hill Street from Dellrose Street to Brownsville Road; and Altaview Avenue from Lynnbrook Avenue to the dead end.
Officials cautioned that the schedule may change or be postponed because of weather or other factors. The resurfacing program also supports ADA curb-ramp upgrades and repairs to concrete, brick and block-stone streets, while mechanical patching targets trouble spots on otherwise serviceable roads.
