PITTSBURGH, PA — Pittsburgh’s Collision Investigation Unit is asking for the public’s help identifying the driver of a vehicle involved in a fatal overnight vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision on Bennett Street, according to a city public safety release published June 26.
The city said the collision happened along the border of the Homewood South and East Hills neighborhoods. The release did not provide additional details about the circumstances of the crash.
Officials described the vehicle involved as a silver or gray Toyota Prius with Pennsylvania plate NCL-1036.
