Holiday Service and Facility Schedule:
- Refuse, Recycling, and Yard Waste: Trash and recycling collection will proceed as scheduled on Friday, July 3. However, the city’s yard debris and recycling drop-off centers are closed on both Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4.
- CitiParks Outdoor Pools: Neighborhood pools will remain open on holiday hours (1:00 PM to 5:45 PM), except for the McBride and Sue Murray pools, which will open from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
- CitiParks Recreation & Senior Centers: Healthy Active Living senior centers and standard recreation centers are closed. However, Greenfield, Homewood, and South Side senior centers are open from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM as designated cooling centers.
