PITTSBURGH, PA — Pittsburgh police are asking the public to help locate a missing 13-year-old boy who was last seen early Saturday in the city’s Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar area.
Special Victims Unit detectives said Ak’yher Thompson was last seen at approximately 3:30 a.m. July 25 in the 2200 block of Wilner Drive. Police consider him endangered because of his age.
According to the city’s public-safety notice, Thompson is known to frequent Wilkinsburg, Homewood and Larimer, particularly the area around Liberty Green Park.
Police described Thompson as 5 feet 2 inches tall and approximately 90 pounds, with a small afro. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, navy sweatpants and a gray hat.
