Pittsburgh Police Investigate Three-Vehicle Collision Involving Motorbikes

PITTSBURGH, PA — Two motorbike riders were taken to a hospital after a three-vehicle collision at General Robinson Street and Federal Street, according to the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police.

Zone 1 officers responded to the intersection at approximately 7:15 p.m. The city’s public safety notice said preliminary information indicated that two adult men riding motorbikes went through a red light and struck the side of another vehicle.

The driver of that vehicle remained at the scene. Both motorbike riders sustained head injuries, and Pittsburgh Bureau of EMS transported them to a local hospital.

The official notice did not provide additional information about the riders’ conditions or announce any charges.
