PITTSBURGH, PA — Pittsburgh police are investigating a shooting in Uptown that left an adult man injured Friday afternoon, according to city public safety officials.
Zone 2 officers were dispatched to Jumonville Street at Watson Street at about 4:45 p.m. after receiving reports that a man had been shot. Officers found the victim with a single gunshot wound to his upper thigh.
Pittsburgh EMS transported the man in stable condition. The city said Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating the incident.
