PITTSBURGH, PA — Pittsburgh’s Downtown Public Safety Center reported 84 arrests during five weeks of enforcement activity in the Central Business and Entertainment Districts, according to statistics released by the city Monday.
For the most recent reporting week, Sept. 14 through Sept. 20, officers recorded 10 arrests, nine non-traffic citations, two traffic citations and two warrants. They also recovered one gun and one fake gun. The city reported no parking citations or vehicle tows for that week.
Across the full Aug. 17 through Sept. 20 reporting period, the weekly figures total 84 arrests, 40 non-traffic citations, 44 parking citations, two traffic citations, five vehicle tows, eight warrants and five recovered guns. One fake gun was reported during the period.
The city said Downtown Public Safety Center officers continue focused enforcement in Pittsburgh’s Central Business and Entertainment Districts.
